Designed and manufactured at our site near Wolverhampton; the air sealed range is ideal for use in environments that require protection from air, moisture and dust. Our air sealed panels have been specified by architects for use in hospitals, operating theatres and clean rooms.
Our air sealed access panels feature a combined high-density gasket sealing system and fully polyester powder-coated zintec door to protect the area behind the access panel from being penetrated by dust, moisture and air. As standard, the access panel is coated with a long-lasting anti-bacterial powder coating to all exposed surfaces of the access panel. Which has been proven to actively reduce bacterial growth by disrupting the bacteria’s cellular function and therefore its ability to survive. Test results demonstrated that bacteria levels of E Coli and MRSA were below the limit of detection within 24 hours. Find out more on how we make our air sealed access panels anti-bacterial here.
The design for our air sealed panel has undergone extensive testing and successfully complied with performance criteria as required in BS EN 1026:2000 and the Anti-Bacterial coating standard JIS Z2801:2000. This has lead it to being specified and installed in a range of public facilities and healthcare environments including hospital clean rooms and operating theatres*.
Currently as standard, our air sealed range is available in the following door sizes*: 300 x 300mm, 450 x 450mm, 600 x 600mm, 600 x 300mm, 900 x 600mm & 1200 x 600mm. All of which come with the choice of either a picture or beaded frame along with an anti-bacterial white metal door and fitted budget lock. The budget lock is opened and closed with the use of a ‘T-key’ which is supplied with the access panel. Due to the nature of our air sealed access panels, they are not kept as ‘stocked items’ and therefore each panel will go through the manufacturing process at time of ordering – our sales team will be able to provide you with an estimated lead time when ordering. Once the product has been manufactured it will be dispatched using our next day delivery service*.
*Installers should follow guidelines set by the relevant wall or ceiling manufacturer to ensure the correct properties are achieved for the environment.
The structural opening is to be made 10mm greater than the size of the door. For example on an 300 x 300mm door size the structural opening will need to be 310 x 310mm.
Next day delivery service is only available to mainland UK addresses and does not include weekends.
